My pony's  name was Blaze. He taught me how to ride, I had him from 1993 to 1997 and sold him to a nice family. Even though I outgrew him I always thought I'd know where he was at and how he was doing, he was sold around 5 years after I sold Blaze to them. But thanks to many very nice people and previous owners they have helped me get closer to finding him!

Latest update 3-14-11 Was contacted by a woman who has seen my ads, and was at the actual sale Blaze was at! She said two nice ladies bought Blaze,  this woman was considering buying Blaze. They lived north of her, she resided in Preble county  Ohio.  The previous owners that brought Blaze to the auction, told me that the new owners were going to use him for 4h, but thats all she could remember.

6-23-12 I'm asking a favor of everyone please visit facebook Blaze has a page Help Me Find Blaze, please like it and share his story with as many people as possible and invite your horse friends to like his page I'm hoping that the more horse people that like the page the more it will get attention and I can hopefully find him.

Color: Chestnut with white blaze, has a little bit of white on legs, not much. Hardly any white on his front legs, a little on his back legs more on his right? hind leg than his left.

He would be around 29 years of age now, 13.2 hands

Has been ridden Western and English, he has been used in 4h, barrel racing (years ago) and also in hunter/jumper lessons.  I rode him English, he does have knowledge of jumping. He has a stocky build and looks like a Quarter Pony when he runs you can hear a clicking sound in one of his joints.

Quirks: Doesn't like to ride in the trailer, may kick while in the trailer. Tendancy to be overweight on large pasture of grass. According to the "last" known owners he wouldn't take the bit and was stubborn and that is why the sold him

ANY information you may have on Blaze would be most appreciated.  I would love to hear how he is doing.
